Hi, I’m Montana!

I’m an online running and strength coach.

I’m an online running and strength coach. I’ve been running for over 16 years. I ran competitively in high school and at the D1 level in college. I’ve also coached or interned at the high school, collegiate, and professional level.

Through my years of running, I’ve made every classic beginner runner mistake, had big PRs but also frustrating plateaus, tinkered with my diet, strength training, stretching routine, had injuries and also comebacks, struggled with good and bad self-talk. Basically, I’ve been in the trenches of everything my runners go through, and now, through my study as a coach, am able to help guide runners out the other side through an evidence-based approach. I love helping my athletes work through both the good AND bad that this sport can bring.

Why hire a running coach?

You have a big running goal and want someone to help guide you from point A to point B – as smart, efficiently, and stress-free as possible, and without injury.

You’ve used cookie-cutter training plans in the past but have had trouble adjusting when you miss a workout, get sick, or you’re not seeing progress as quickly as you’d like. You want someone to meet you where you’re at and help make your training plan fit YOU and your life – not the other way around.

You’re already motivated, but are struggling with information overload. How many miles per week should I be running? Strength training – should I be doing it? Stretching – good or bad, and how much? Is high mileage or low mileage the best approach?

You work a demanding job, or are a parent, and are wearing many different hats in your life. You want someone to take the mental load of training away from you – so all you have to do is show up every day and execute!

You’ve stagnated, or keep ending up in chronic injury cycles, and aren’t seeing the results you’d like. You need a coach to do an audit of your current training, tell you what you’re doing wrong, and help guide you to a better path.
